iQ Abuse Manager integrates Malware Patrol

Since the inception of the iQ Abuse Manager, our Threat Intelligence Analysts have reviewed more than 200 different feeds of data for potential integration into our service. Out of these, only a handful have proven to stand up to our tests and fulfilled our criteria, such as low false positive rate and high update frequency.

Hence, we are excited to announce a new Threat Intelligence Feed has been added to iQ Abuse Manager. Malware Patrol is a well-known and respected source of abuse data that has been around for more than 15 years who has built a robust network of sensors, sharing agreements, and community contributors.

With this integration, Malware Patrol reports now contribute to the existing categories Malware, Phishing, and Botnet, and is the first Threat Intelligence Feed to add reports in our Generated Domains (DGA) category.

iQ Abuse Manager now holds more than 2.5 million active abuse reports for more than 1.5 million unique domain names. And, if you ask us, we think that we all need to work together to make these numbers go down!

Please contact us at support@iq.global if you have any questions regarding the Malware Patrol Threat Intelligence Feed.
